Hi, I’m Jaylin “Jay” Williams, a professional drummer and traveling musician with over 14 years of experience behind the kit. Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of performing and collaborating with a wide variety of artists, bands, and musical directors in both live and studio settings. My work spans different genres and styles, giving me the opportunity to adapt my playing to support each artist’s unique sound and creative vision.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with artists and musicians connected to GRAMMY and Dove Award-winning collectives such as Elevation Worship and Elevation Rhythm, as well as independent musicians and touring acts across the country. These experiences have taught me how to bring energy, precision, and intentionality to every performance, while staying sensitive to the musical conversation happening on stage.

I’m passionate about connecting with other artists and helping bring their musical ideas to life. Whether it’s crafting dynamic grooves, supporting a live set, or collaborating on a new project, my approach is rooted in feel, versatility, and creative collaboration. Music has always been more than just a career for me—it’s a way to communicate, inspire, and explore expression alongside others.

When I’m not on the road or in the studio, I continue to grow my craft through practice, study, and teaching, sharing the joy of drumming and creative exploration with students and peers. My journey as a musician has always been about connecting with people through music and bringing energy and passion to every stage, and that’s exactly what I aim to do with every collaboration.
